Capturing Fall Magic with Patch to Porch ATX
As a photographer, there’s nothing more satisfying than stepping into a shoot where creativity, color, and concept come together seamlessly—and that’s exactly what happened during my recent branding session with Patch to Porch ATX.
Patch to Porch is a new local gem serving the Austin and Georgetown area, specializing in custom pumpkin displays that are seriously Pinterest-worthy. Whether it's a cozy front porch, a festive storefront, or a fall-themed event setup, they bring seasonal charm straight to your doorstep—styled to perfection.
The Vision
When the founders of Patch to Porch reached out to me about photographing their first official branding shoot, I was immediately intrigued. Their concept blends interior styling with the natural beauty of fall produce—something that’s both visually striking and nostalgic.
From a photography standpoint, I knew this shoot had to feel warm, welcoming, and slightly whimsical—something that evoked the smell of cider, the crunch of leaves, and the anticipation of sweater weather.
The Setup
We shot on location at a few different homes in Georgetown, where Patch to Porch had styled their signature pumpkin displays. Think: heirloom pumpkins in all shades of orange, white, and green, layered with hay bales, and mums. The level of detail they put into each display was incredible—it made my job easy.
Each setup felt like a little storybook scene, and I wanted my images to reflect that. I played with natural light, focused on texture, and leaned into the rich tones of the pumpkins and props to create images that were as vibrant as the designs themselves.

What impressed me most—aside from the gorgeous styling—was the effortlessness they bring to their service. As I watched them work, it was clear they had an eye for design and a heart for hospitality.
